M+W Group“We have worked with Stone Bridge Iron & Steel Inc. for the past 10 years.  They not only have met the project expectations but, have often brought improvements to both quality and value. These innovative ideas have helped us bring safety in steel erection to the forefront!  This was recently exemplified over one of the snowiest and coldest winters in the past 100 years without any incidents. We would utilize their expertise without hesitation on any project. “

Hamilton College“In 1981 I had my first contact with the Carmer Family and Stone Bridge Iron & Steel.  SBIS was a small company that worked with various companies doing miscellaneous iron projects and built logging truck racks.  Every couple of years since then I have had the pleasure of stopping by and witnessing amazing growth.  Not just the growth with what you see when you pull into the driveway, but the growth of knowledge within the walls.  This is an organization that knows how to get things done.  It is an extremely professional and proactive company that seems be able to tackle any problem with ease and grace.

Move forward 34 years and the company is as strong as ever.  For the past 6 years I have been hiring SBIS on the campus of Hamilton College to perform millions of dollars of work on campus.  Each has been very complicated.  One 80,000 sq ft structure is shaped like a crescent moon.  Another is a 1920’s structure that needed to be reinforced a large addition was added as well.  We always felt as if that Hamilton College’s best interest were being attended to in a professional manner.

I know that the General Contractors, Architects and Engineers that have worked on this project have also been very pleased with SBIS.  I look forward to our next project working together knowing that the professionalism and craftsmanship of the company is quality in every way.”
