February 22, 2006

A new Accurpress, model 740012, CNC 400 Ton Press Brake and Accurshear, model 875010, CNC Shear arrived in Gansevoort this morning while the old equipment was being loaded out of the fabrication bay. The new Press Brake and Shear mark another milestone in the ongoing commitment to keep the fabrication facility competitive and keep our employees using the safest and most modern equipment available remarked Brian Carmer, President, Stone Bridge Iron & Steel, Inc.

Len Squires, Facilities Manager, stated, The decision to replace our 9-year old Hydrapower equipment was an easy one, the more difficult decision lay in which vendor to invest in. Our decision to purchase ACCURPRESS equipment allows us to meet our customers demanding tolerances while achieving the highest level of durability and after-sales support from an equipment manufacturer. Accurpress leads the way with over 10,000 press brakes and shears in operation across North America and around the world. These machines are renowned for superior reliability and accuracy.

Over the last 5 years Stone Bridge has either replaced or completely rebuilt nearly every major piece of its long list of fabrication equipment. This commitment to modernization has kept Stone Bridge in the forefront of the steel fabrication industry and maintains the highest level of quality in our products.
