and always carry demanding schedules. Freezer / warehouse projects are generally steel framed with joist and metal decking. Finishes vary from industrial mezzanines and platforms to high-end stainless steel, aluminum and glass monumental stairs and railings in research and development buildings.
Nestlé USA - Beverage production and distribution center
Location: Anderson, Indiana
Description: Stellar chose Stone Bridge to deliver this 255,000 ft2 expansion to the Nestlé facility in Anderson, because of Stone Bridge's ability to deliver on its promises. Stone Bridge has delivered several critical projects with Stellar in the past, and once again, Stone Bridge was able to deliver on its promised schedule. This expansion brings the Anderson facility to close to 1 mm ft2.
Nestlé USA chairman and CEO, Brad Alford, said in a foodprocessing-technology interview: "In a span of five years, Nestlé will have invested $529m in this facility... When it is finished in 2011, the Anderson facility will have created more than 500 local jobs in a tough economy. This is our fourth investment in Indiana in the past two years – twice in Anderson, once in Greenwood and once in Fort Wayne."

Description: A fast moving project with demanding schedules to construct a tanker unloading building, a waste water treatment facility, an office expansion and process area encompassing 33,800 ft2. This project topped out in late 2008.

United States Cold Storage - Tulare
Location: Tulare, California
Description: Stellar chose Stone Bridge on our ability to deliver this 268,000 ft2 freezer and dry storage facility in less than 7 weeks from award. While a tall order, Stone Bridge was able to deliver on its promise even while numerous city plan check revisions were made. This project topped out mid 2008.

Ocean Spray Cranberries - Plant Expansion
Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Description: Working directly with Ocean Spray of Lakeville-Middleboro, MA, Stone Bridge provided structural steel, equipment platforms with grating and railings, joists and deck with a sophisticated paint system for the 80,000 ft2 expansion. The addition houses a new fruit and dry goods receiving, processing, packaging, and warehousing areas for the new Craisin® production line to support the upper Midwest region. This project's demanding schedule required close design coordination with the design/engineering team to be erected in time for incoming equipment.

Daisy Brand - New Production Facility
Location: Casa Grande, Arizona
Description: Stone Bridge has partnered with The Dennis Group to provide structural steel, joist, deck and erection for a new 200,000 ft2 Sour Cream manufacturing facility. The project contains many buildings within buildings from 40 to 80 feet tall. Built to the 2003 IBC code, the building has complex engineering requirements with an elevated tank farm within the structure. Steel topped out for this project mid 2007.

La Brea Bakery - New Production Lines 4 & 5 Expansion Project

Description: Stone Bridge provided concrete and steel design as a collaborative Design-build partner with The Dennis Group for an office and manufacturing expansion. Structural steel, joists, decking, stairs, railings and miscellaneous metals were furnished and installed.

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream
Location: Bakersfield, California
Description: The expansion adds 400,000ft2 of space for a 120,000ft2 -20°F freezer ice cream warehouse and six ice cream production lines. Ground breaking occurred in May 2004 and completion of the expansion project was expected by July 2005, but was actually completed during May 2005 (two months ahead of schedule). The facility also included a 20-door shipping dock, a new technical center including research and development facilities, a pilot plant for flavor development, laboratories and prep kitchens. The new expansion currently allows the facility to produce an additional 70 million gallons of ice cream products per year in addition to the other frozen products. The addition of a seventh production line is planned during 2006 that will take production to over 90 million gallons per year.

Institution Food House - Institution Food House
Location: Florence, South Carolina
Description: The Institution Food House, Inc. Facility is a new 330,000 ft2 high tech warehouse in the Touchstone Industrial Park. The building is a state-of-the-art warehouse utilizing voice selection item locaters and complete scan control of all inventory. The facility has a 200 seat auditorium with closed circuit TV screens for food preparation classes. The on-camera demonstrations will be broadcast from an adjoining commercial kitchen. This project also included a 14,000 ft2 fleet maintenance facility.
