About Us

Stone Bridge Iron & Steel is located in Gansevoort, New York.

We are an automated structural steel, and miscellaneous metals fabricator. With over 45,000 square feet under roof and hook, we specialize in fast-track commercial and industrial projects. Our 8,000-foot climate controlled paint facility enables us to serve clients with complex paint requirements. The shop floor is highly automated with everything from a 52-inch saw, CNC beam drilling and robot coping, CNC angle and plate punching systems, and a CNC plasma/oxy-fuel burning table.

About the Area

Gansevoort is a small community 12 miles north of Saratoga Springs, in the Capital Region of New York. Saratoga Springs, population 35,000, is located 30 minutes North of Albany, New York, the state Capital. Saratoga Springs is centrally located, 3 hours north of New York City, 3 hours south of Montreal, Canada, and 3 hours west of Boston. Many of our employees live in Saratoga Springs, Milton, Glens Falls, and other smaller surrounding communities.

The quality of life is excellent in Upstate New York and the people move at a more relaxed place than in most other areas. Outdoor recreation abounds with lakes, rivers, and streams throughout the region. Famous Lake George is only 30 miles north. Saratoga Springs is rich with the arts, cultural events, and activities. The State Park has a 70,000-person indoor/outdoor amphitheatre, which attracts national acts from jazz, R&B, country and top 40 to heavy metal, during the summer. Saratoga has touring ballet companies and large touring orchestras throughout the summer months. During July and August the area becomes a hub of activity and excitement as the New York Racing Association (NYRA) brings thoroughbred horse racing to the world-renowned Saratoga Raceway.
