AISC Membership

Stone Bridge Iron & Steel, a reputable structural steel and metal fabrication company since 1973, is a proud member of the AISC. Founded in 1921, the AISC, or American Institute of Steel Construction, is currently headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. As a not-for-profit technical institute and trade association, the AISC strives to make steel the American construction industry’s material of choice.

Serving the entire steel design community and construction industry, the AISC pushes market development initiatives and encourages innovation through educational resources and support. Both the Specification for Steel Buildings and the Manual of Steel Construction were released by the AISC. Additionally, many industry standards, codes and quality certifications are established by this prominent organization.

Members of the AISC are associated with virtually every aspect of the design, fabrication and construction of structural steel buildings and bridges, ranging from students to structural engineers to steel production facilities and structural steel and metal fabrication companies like Stone Bridge Iron & Steel.

As a structural steel fabricator, Stone Bridge Iron & Steel has a full AISC membership and follows the organization's quality standards, with a Sophisticated Paint Coating Endorsement in accordance with the AISC’s Quality Certification Program.
